Just looking to get some money back out of this property. I purchased it a few years ago to help a friend out with a down payment on a house they wanted to buy. The seller was very convincing about the value of the property and even promised to buy it back from me at a later date once he had settled his home purchase. as it turns out, I’m into the property for more than it is worth, and there are other properties in Dundurn with more land for less money. I’ve also invested about 9,000 in tearing down an old structure on the property so that the lot can be used for something in the future. the taxes are just under $2000 per year and there is a monthly fee of $66.14 for water whether you are hooked up or not so annual ownership costs are about $2600.  I’m asking $55,000 for the lot.
